Assassin's Mark (Alliance)

Assassin's Mark is an Alliance-only quest for level 30-40 in Spires of Arak. It is step 2 of 15 in the Securing Southport storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Spires of Arak at 53.5, 28.2. It rewards 5,450 experience and money.

Description

We need tae find the orc responsible fer makin' the poison tae make an antidote.

Master assassins always leave their mark somewhere on one o' their kills. It's a claim tae fame o' sorts. An' trust me, this was the work of a master assassin.

Let's split up and see if we can find some sign on one o' the outcast corpses that will lead us tae their killer. I'll meet ye at the bottom o' the hill, commander.

When you investigate a body you will loot a [item=113574]. On the sixth body instead of a [item=113574] you will instead loot an [item=113573]. You will no longer be able to search bodies and will need to go hand in the quest.

However, if for some reason your bags are full for the initial search of a body you will fail to loot the [item=113574]. Unfortunately the game will still count that as one of the six required searches, so when you search your sixth body you will collect your fifth [item=113574], but the game will deactivate further bodies for searching.

If this happens you will need to abandon the quest and start again. And make sure that you have space in your bags for the [item=113574] items.
