A Feast of Shadows

A Feast of Shadows is a quest for level 30-40 in Spires of Arak. It is step 8 of 12 in the Secrets of the Talonpriests storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Spires of Arak at 44.5, 24.0. It rewards 4 reward items, 1 reputation reward, 5,450 experience and money.

Description

Many arakkoa died in Veil Akraz. From the outside, all seems still. Empty.

But in this place between worlds, death never goes unnoticed.

Stray life essence seeps through from the other side; a feast for the beings who prowl here.

Slay the shadow creatures here, and gather from their corpses the fine dust they produce. I will need much of it to perform the rites of the Talon King.

FUN TIME. Note the Face-Stealers wandering about? Put on your favorite silly/scary transmog, after you've done the quest, and they've respawned. Let them all steal your appearance and reset them (by running out of the phasing area, or dying or vanishing etc.).

Watch the giant "yous" wandering around, and leave them that way for the next poor sod.

I wandered in to find angry moonkin staring at me; I left an army of spiked worgen Death Knights wielding Shadowmourne in the Wrathful plate/Acherus combination set. You could theoretically leave turkeys, snowmen, people dressed in Christmas gear, angry Arthases... Any transform; the possibilities are endless.

<Miraculously, this single egg has eluded the ravagers. A small tag has been lovingly tied around the base of the egg. It reads "Ikky.">

  • The Kaliri WhispererSpires of Arak · Level 30-40

An important contact lives in the nearby Shadowglade. He is meek, but trains kaliri of monstrous size which are quite dangerous. He once claimed they could knock a rylak out of the sky, but I'll believe that when I see it. Skizzik is holding a valuable treasure for me.
