Buried Remnants is a quest for level 60 in Zereth Mortis, added in Shadowlands. It rewards 8,150 experience.
Much has been lost to the invading forces, those that came with destruction in their hearts.

I don't get how daily quests like that don't give you reputation for the Enlightened...
Run around the quest area and click on sparkling piles of sand. You loot [item=188738]s which aren't objects, but icons with a yellow symbol. Nearby mobs will attack you while you unearth an artifact, so use any stuns you have.
Edit: Provis Strata is a circle defined by the main road. The quest area includes the top right quarter of the circle. The area between 12 o'clock and 2 o'clock is a safer area to farm. Stone pillars form the top edge of the space and there are few mobs. There are a number of unguarded sand piles. Beware of wasps as you move toward 2 o'clock. I also found two sand piles on the raised platform near [npc=184409]'s spawn point (48, 45).
As a Druid, with flight, you can use travel form and not have to fight any mobs.
