Cataloging Thaldraszus

This is definitely the worst cataloging world quest. You're so far away from most of the things you're trying to photograph, and half the time it doesn't even register them. I swear, I've tried to photograph those two proto-drakes on that floating rock island every single time I've done this quest, and they've never counted once, even though they were glowing.
Not to mention there seems to be less animals in general to photograph.

My top tip for this quest is to zoom totally in to first person and do it that way. Ignore the camera circle on the screen - just look around and take a photo when you see the short-lived glow on mobs. Annoying, but not as annoying as thinking you can move the camera for this one.

These cataloging quests are usually a relaxing diversion, but this one is really buggy and kind of obnoxious. Even when I had a creature lit up, it wasn't giving me credit for taking the photo. There also doesn't seem to be many mobs available to even take a picture of in the first place. Took me 3 (and almost 4 because I finished at the last second) rounds on the balloon to finish this.

edit: Months later and this buggy world quest still doesn't register half the mobs you take pictures of. Absolutely awful, but now that I'm at max renown at least I have the satisfaction of knowing I'll never have to do this WQ ever again.
