If you can't figure out where to get the parts they spawn on the ground.
A lot of people on the same daily makes them very hard to find.
Two things:
1) if you click on it and it is a trap, its worth killing the mobs that spawn, they drop the quest drop.
2) Blizzard -- the fact that almost every quest in Mechagon and Nazjatar requires a visit to wowhead to figure-out wtf to do, means you did something wrong. This does not make for fun gameplay.

First, let me say that you will ALWAYS be our favorite test subject. But our experiments require far more sacrifice than a single test subject can offer. And, from time to time, some of those test subjects require new limbs. My dear brother and I have a nascent concept for expanding the average lifespan of mechanical appendages. But we've run out of components to experiment on. Salvage some appendages from the heap outside town so we can continue our experiments.
