Clues Abound

The Quest Clues Abound includes 7 Quests for your Achievement-Progress on Outside Influences for the daylie Visitors in Mechagon.

You have to check here for 3 different kind of hints that you find with Sir Finley Mrrgglton, so it will take you 3 times doing Clues Abound for all Quests.

• Old Parchment leads to the Quest A Historical Mess

• Ancient Runestone leads to the Quest A Growing Mystery
  IMPORTANT: While you do the Quest A Growing Mystery dont just kill the Mutated Lashlings for your Quest, kill also the Toxic Lurker and you will recieve after a few kills the Night Elf Ring. This gives you the Quest Strange Discovery for your Achievement. If you already turned in your Quest A Growing Mystery the Lurkers cant drop the Quest any more!

• Hearthstone Card leads to the Quest Time for Heroics
  After you rescued Adalin Halfheight he gives you the Quest Deck'Em
  IMPORTANT: While you do the Quest Time for Heroics dont just rescue the 3 Guys, also kill the Congealed Oil in that area and you will recieve after a few kills the Old Pirate Hat. This gives you the Quest Pirates? I Hate Those Guys for your Achievement. If you already turned in your Quest Time for Heroics the Oils cant drop the Quest any more! If you do this in a Group only 1 Member can loot this Hat and has to share it to the others!

For this quest, you need to find one of these items: [item=168223], [item=168234], [item=168235], [item=168236]. The most common I found was the [item=168223], there are multiple lying on the ground (or in the oil) around 78, 60.

If you struggle with this quest, it might be because you were looting from your mount using [item=152813]. If you were and can't loot anything from the objects, you need to abandon the quest and pick it up again.

If you're having issues with this quest due to the Monel-Hardened Stirrups, you don't have to remove the buff, just abandon the quest and make sure you're not mounted when looting the item.
