You get no rep for this quest. I'm not sure what the point of doing it is if you don't happen to need to charge energy cells.

It's also worth noting that you will eventually need THIRTY *Empty* energy cells for the spider mount quest chain, so maybe don't just charge up *all* of your cells, if you're close to that step. Unless you want to go and farm more, I'm not your boss, you do you.
It's probably worth mentioning that when you pay to use the charger you only pay once and can then charge your 5 energy cells

Description
The wondrous scuttlebutt around town is that the charging station in Bondo's Yard is going to be repaired today! That charging station is the best way to recharge all the Empty Energy Cells that've been piling up in your bag. Or in other people's bag. Or inside the mechanical innards of robots you don't own but are legally allowed to destroy. After you've acquired Empty Energy Cells, help build the charging station in Bondo's Yard and charge all of your Empty Energy Cells!
