I got the error message "You're in the wrong zone" when using the item. Relog didn't fix it, but I went up to Maiev where you turn in the quest and went out again and then I could use the item on the Satyrs.

Worked a treat for me, cheers.
Whoever designed this quest doesn't know their lore. All Satyr are night elves that willingly joined the Legion to be corrupted. There is no reason they would rise again as grateful sentinel ghosts when killed.

Description
I cannot thank you enough for your help with this, {name}. I knew I had to be here to help Nari when she told me about this mission. It seems as though my skills are needed, just as I thought. The magic here is foul and all-corrupting. It must be contained. Please, take this book and read the incantation within after putting the satyr around Jaedenar to rest. Jaedenar need not be a place of death and corruption any longer.
Where to go
Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Tyrande suspected there was something foul happening here in Felwood... and she was right. Her priestess, Kaylessa, was sent here to purify the moonwell from the fel corruption that plagues this land, in an effort to reclaim that which belongs to us.

This place... it was once so important to my family. That is why I agreed to come--and why Lysander wanted to come along as well. <Arko'narin glances over at Lysander before looking back at you.> Even after the horrors of Teldrassil, my brother still tries to do everything he can to help others.
