Eliminate the Outcast (Horde)

Eliminate the Outcast is a Horde-only quest for level 10-30 in The Cape of Stranglethorn. It is step 18 of 62 in The Cape of Stranglethorn storyline. It rewards 3,100 experience and money.

Description

You are to kill Zanzil. You rode on Hir'eek's wings and saw through Hir'eek's eyes; you know where Zanzil hides within the Ruins of Aboraz. Travel there and kill him.

Oh, and <race>: if we become separated, you should use this fetish. It only works within Stranglethorn, but it will transport you back here to me should you need to return swiftly.

Good luck, <race>. Zanzil is no ordinary opponent.

''It only works within Stranglethorn, but it will transport you back here to me should you need to return switfly.''

I'm sure they mean 'swiftly' instead of 'switfly' but I do not know how to let Blizzard know that. It's not just a typo here, it is also in-game. I'm sure they would want to know.

Apparently since the latest patches post-Cataclysm, they have removed the NPC named [npc=43245] from the game until they finish renovating Zul'gurub into a refurbished level 85 heroic dungeon.

About the quest: Now all players need to do is stand in the same walls that Zanzil stood and you automagically get a 'click to complete quest' box in the top-right on your screen. Once you click and finish quest, it will then also automagically give you the next quest in this chain, Through the Troll Hole.

  • Backdoor DealingsThe Cape of Stranglethorn · Level 10-30

Zanzil the Outcast, an exile from the Gurubashi tribe, is my quarry. Recently, I have heard tales from my brothers in the north about his planned reentry into society, starting with the emissary he sent to the Skullsplitters. This is not good news. I want you to peer into Zanzil's current plans.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Through the Troll HoleThe Cape of Stranglethorn · Level 10-30

It looks like Zanzil's portal into Zul'Gurub is still open. Zul'Gurub is a dangerous place, but Chabal entrusted this task to you. The portal lies in wait in front of you.
