TheWoWDBAfter gathering stones inside the cave, exit and you'll get an Extra Action Button to throw them in the lava. They cook for a moment, then Slag Bubbles come out an attack you. Kill them, and retrieve the heated gem. I threw in 4 at a time, no problem fighting all at once. More than that and the bad stuff on the floor spreads out too much.
