Attention Druids: You can not do this quest while shapeshifted. It took me a minute to figure this out. It won't let you take the barrel of Cinderbrew Reserve, and you will lose it if you shapeshift after taking it.

Once you get the barrel, exit, and turn right to the stairs. You'll have to go through a gauntlet of NPCs who will confiscate the brew if you're caught.

As a warlock (or monk with Transcendence), place your Demonic Circle on the ledge at the top level at /way 42.37 23.43, then grab the Cinderbrew Reserve, walk left along the wall until you get in range of your Demonic Circle and teleport to the top level. Now you just have to avoid the patrols, there are no hostile mobs up there.

Description

Trade may have been restricted, but I'll calcify before I let my Cinderbrew Reserve fall into the hands of these stripped screws or go up when some elemental looks at it funny. The inspectors are watching me, stranger, so I can't go fetch it myself, but they won't be paying any special attention to you. I left it behind the desk in my old office, down below. Just don't get too close to an enforcer or they'll confiscate any cinderbrew you're carrying and I'll be left with nothing to drink.
