And the captain has already spawned when you go in to take those weapons. Athough he was killed in the quest before...
Actually, there's no reason in particular to kill Garvey until you get this quest. Doing them together is way more efficient.

What to do
Description
Now, any good mutiny is going to need serious firepower. Cap'n Garvey claimed all the best firearms for himself: A whole shipment of big, heavy dwarven flintlocks. He keeps them at his side in the other building across the island. Grab me six of those rifles and I'll distribute them to me future officers...

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits
Before this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Glomp is Sitting On It
What? Leave it to Dizzywig to expect a mutiny on the cheap. No matter, mon, we can make this work. First we need the money. Cap'n Garvey likes to hoard the loot we've been earnin', money I can use to pay off my handpicked mutineers. The treasure pile is just outside the barracks here.
After this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Mutiny, Mon!
Now for my favorite part of any mutiny: the killin'! For pirates, it doesn't matter who's supposed to be in charge, only who's in control of the ships. Anchored on the east end of this island is the Maiden's Dagger, Cap'n Garvey's old flagship.
