Quest Log

Mutiny, Mon!

Mutiny, Mon! is a Horde-only quest for level 5-30 in Northern Barrens. It is step 37 of 62 in the Northern Barrens storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Northern Barrens at 69.6, 72.9. It rewards 5 reward items, 5,150 experience and money. Completing it counts toward 1 achievement.

Description

Now for my favorite part of any mutiny: the killin'! For pirates, it doesn't matter who's supposed to be in charge, only who's in control of the ships. Anchored on the east end of this island is the Maiden's Dagger, Cap'n Garvey's old flagship. He left his most trusted officer in charge: Alicia Cuthbert. Once we take her out, the ship is ours, and so's the sea.

I'll get the men onto the boats. I need you to board the Dagger and blow this horn from on deck - that'll be our signal to board. Yar!

Just go up to the Maiden's Dagger, Cap'n Garvey's old flagship and once you are on the deck use the pirate signal. Tony and his men will appear and proceed to take out all the other pirates. Just follow him and assist him if you feel like doing so.

He will make his way down to the captains quarters and engage Alicia Cuthbert. After the fight you need to follow him into the actual captains cabin to get the quest complete notice.

When someone starts this event, the entire boat is phased, and players not on the quest (such as Alliance players) can find themselves in this phase.

Alicia Cuthbert has the following to say to players who interact with her:

Do not trifle with me, <race>.

It's possible to fail the quest if an Alliance player who happens to be on the boat kills Tony Two-Tusk.

  • Guns. We Need Guns.Northern Barrens · Level 5-30

Now, any good mutiny is going to need serious firepower. Cap'n Garvey claimed all the best firearms for himself: A whole shipment of big, heavy dwarven flintlocks. He keeps them at his side in the other building across the island.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Find Baron LongshoreNorthern Barrens · Level 5-30

That dirty pirate Baron Longshore was the terror of these waters before the Alliance demolished his fleet and rounded up the survivors. Am I happy about it? Do I look like a bundle of joy and good cheer, <name>? Longshore raided some of my most valuable cargo before his capture.
