Gurubashi Challenge is a PvP quest for level 1-90 in The Cape of Stranglethorn. It rewards 9,500 experience and money.
You've returned, <race>. That means you've felt the call of the arena once more. Very well.
Take this battle standard, <race>, and place it down on the arena floor. Defeat the summoned combatant, then return to me.
Stay on your toes, <race>. Anything goes inside the Gurubashi Arena.

Is there any point to this quest, other than the fifteen gold (and the chance of real pvp, if that counts)?
If your opponent dies from your Spell Reflect, you will NOT get credit and you'll have to wait about 3 minutes for your flag cooldown to finish. Consider yourself warned :<
New daily available with the new world changes as of 4.0.3a after doing its starting quest from same NPC: Gurubashi Challenge: Free-For-All Arena Combat
It scales with level, getting a NPC of same level. Easy if done without anyone around. When inside the Arena you will get flagged for combat (different from being PVP flagged) and anyone can attack you, so I advise not to try this during chest times or you in for a big fight.
