Kick Them While They're Down

Kick Them While They're Down is a quest for level 25-30 in Netherstorm. It is step 29 of 103 in the Netherstorm storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Netherstorm at 32.1, 64.0. It rewards 4 reward items, 1 reputation reward and 4,100 experience.

Description

The news you've discovered is fortunate, <name>. Not only do you get to waltz into Manaforge Duro unfettered, this also presents a great opportunity to deal a blow to Kael's army.

Use the mana creature assault to your advantage and pick off any Sunfury stragglers you run into.

I do not take particular glee in the senseless slaughter of my own kin the way that Thalodien does, but the tactical advantage here is too high to pass up.

I just figured it out. You have to complete the chain of quest that ends with Shutting Down Manaforge Coruu before she will give you this one. So make sure you do the quest chain that leads up to Shutting Down Manaforge Coruu and your golden.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Shutting Down Manaforge AraNetherstorm · Level 25-30

You've done much better than any of us anticipated. Manaforge Ara is the last of Kael's working manaforges. You'll find it northwest of here, though you're likely to have to do some circumnavigating to get to it. We want you to shut it down.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • A DefectorNetherstorm · Level 25-30

We've recently been contacted by a Sunfury magister who wishes to join our ranks and swears he has information we're in need of. We've checked our informants to make sure he's not a double agent and he checks out. He's stationed in Manaforge Ara which makes communication difficult.
