Information Gathering

Information Gathering is a quest for level 25-30 in Netherstorm. It is step 24 of 103 in the Netherstorm storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Netherstorm at 48.2, 86.6. It rewards 4 reward items, 1 reputation reward and 3,100 experience.

Description

I've prepared a uniform with the pieces you obtained. It is magically enhanced to complete the illusion.

We spotted Commander Dawnforge going in to meet Arcanist Ardonis a few minutes ago. He had a full retinue of guards with him, so whatever they're discussing is bound to be incredibly important; see if you can catch any of it.

Oh, I almost forgot. You'll want to stay away from the arcane golems patrolling the manaforge. They will see right through the illusion.

Please disregard my previous comment. In order to recieve credit for this part you must be right on top of the two guards that are speaking to one another. Do not worry about Pathaleon the Calculator's Image he is red but will not aggro

Just watch for the arcane annihilator and you'll be fine. I had to solo it, and thankfully I was a lock.

The guys are in the south wing of the mana forge, I walked right up to them, they had a conversation, and the quest was completed. 10 mins is plenty of time.

  • A Convincing DisguiseNetherstorm · Level 25-30

Infiltrating the ranks of Kael's army will not be an easy task. With my knowledge of illusionary magic I could pass you off as one of Kael's followers, but there are certain details in their uniforms I could not replicate.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Shutting Down Manaforge CoruuNetherstorm · Level 25-30

Thalodien told us of your success in disabling Manaforge B'naar. He expects a repeat performance here and asked us to keep an eye out for anyone using a crystal to access the console inside. Overseer Seylanna holds the access crystal, we're sure of it. Go back in there and finish the operation.
