Life for Life

Life for Life is a quest for level 80 in K'aresh. It is step 5 of 5 in the A Stranger's Gift storyline, the final step. The quest's turn-in marker is in K'aresh at 59.6, 60.8. It rewards 11,750 experience and money. Completing it counts toward 1 achievement.

Description

We're too late! The ritual is self-sustaining. It'll draw in more power until it overloads the machine. Tazavesh, the eco-domes--nothing will be safe if the failure cascades.

If we remove the infusers, the energy should dissipate before it can cause any harm. It's too powerful though. It will tear you apart if you try to get close, and I'm not strong enough to do it alone...

Unbind me. I'll wrap you in my energy. That should be enough to let you get close to the machine.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Their leader conducts the last ritual site. Issam the Unraveler... I saw him live up to that name. If he uses our echo machine against us, he and his followers will tear through everything. We'll all be offerings to their absent "god." Slay him and end his ritual. We can't allow a second Devouring.
