TheWoWDBBugged for me. I can not dispel the Grasps. In the original quest you get an item to dispel them.
EDIT - I went back when there was about 45 minutes left on the world quest and the beacon was added to my bag and I was able to complete this.. Hopefully this means Blizz fixed it but who knows..
