TheWoWDBFor "Burrowing Mite extracted" look on the ground and you will see little tentacle tips poking out, wiggling. Those are what you click on and pull out like the various stretchy vine things. Kind of hard to not aggro the bigger mobs when there are so many everywhere.
If there are a lot of the big gorms around, find the tentacle tips near the outside.
After you pull it out it aggros on you, but killing them isn't necessary to get credit, so I just kept running.
If there are several around, you can chain them and then drop aggro or run away or just kill them.

This is another one of these nightmare quests on an unbalanced server. I positively groan when entering the area and it is nothing but the other faction tagging everything. About the only thing this quest is good for is skinning as I am always clean up on aisle 10 hoping something will spawn close to me.
After 45 minutes of running around looking for mobs and skinning everything, I got153 desolate leather

5 heavy desolate leather
48 pallid bones
and a heavy callous hideSo there's always this!
'Mature Gorm' doesn't seem to count all of the adults in the area that spawn - and of those that do, they don't always spawn.
Low spawn rate, low rate of fun.
