After you channel you go to the location and look for a yellow dot on your minimap, go to it and it will trigger a challenge for you to do then reward you with a chest.

If you are dumb like me you need to click on the Anima Conductor directly behind [npc=158773]. This will allow you to channel Anima through either [order-advancement=1238] or [order-advancement=1237].
This quest is bugged for me since about 11.0, I cannot tell exactly when it happened. I have maxed out all my covenant sanctums during Shadowlands and have permanently reinforced every anima conductor location, yet somehow this quest which I had previously completed was reset. I can accept it again but it is impossible to complete as I can no longer spend anima on the anima conductor since all the locations are permanently active. I have send a ticket and submitted a bug report hoping this will be fixed at some point.

Description
This device you see here can be used to send anima to our temples and aid our people. As each temple regains its flow of anima, it will begin to function once more. You may find these functions useful in your journeys, or you may even find new challenges that await you. Once you have brought some anima to our sanctum, use the device to direct it to a temple, and see the results for yourself.

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.
