You won't see the blue ! for this quest until you fly to Bastion.
Fly to Hero's Rest. Take the north teleporter down and run north to The Eternal Forge, /way 50.29 21.36.
Kill mobs around The Eternal Forge to get [item=180895]s.
As you kill, Forge-Keeper Mnemis may announce increasing threat levels. I got to Moderate after three normal mobs but never got past this. The message also may have been generated by other people questing in the area.
Note that the [npc=160358]s don't drop the quest item.
Don't forget to use the RSVP in your inventory to invite Mikanikos.
Mikanikos prefers a Clean, Safe, and Humble party.

Don't be like me and speak to the wrong Mikanikos for ages wondering why he won't give you a quest! :P

What to do
Description
Ember Court sounds interesting ... but very busy right now! Forsworn got into my supplies. Now everything jumbled and disorganized. Can't work in these conditions. My workshop isn't right! Help me! Get parts. Most will be damaged and you don't know how to tell about flaws. Bring me many to examine. I will find perfect part.
