TheWoWDBThis was still bugged for me today.
However, pressing the ESC key allowed me to remove the fog and start Auto-Attacking again.

so um i cant auto attack the mobs in the meditation kind scews me over abit as a warrior
You'll only see the quest ! when you fly to Bastion.
Fly to Aspirant's Rest and go southwest to Aspirant's Crucible. Kleia and Pelagos are at /way 55.83 86.46 outside the Chamber of First Reflection. Accept the quest.
Run into the chamber and down to the right. After you use the mirror, you'll have to face five Excruciating Memories.
Try to pull these one at a time if you're undergeared. They have a fear (Insidious Anxieties) that fortunately doesn't send you running but stuns you and does shadow damage. You can fight them behind the mirror so you have a little room and won't pull too many.
After the fifth kill, you'll automatically get ported to the recovery chamber, where you can turn in the quest. Don't forget to use the RSVP item.
Kleia and Pelagos prefer a Humble party.
