Swift Action (Alliance)

Swift Action is an Alliance-only quest for level 30-35 in Shimmering Expanse. It is step 109 of 149 in the Vashj'ir, Kelp'thar Forest & Shimmering Expanse storyline. It rewards 3 reward items, 4,800 experience and money.

Description

We have everything we need to begin the attack.

If your claims were correct, you would do well to make sure you cling tight to your mount as we make the attack. Anyone who gets caught in the open water isn't likely to out-swim a naga.

Kill as many as you can as we make the attack run and we'll rendezvous on the broken ledge of the terrace above once we've expended our explosives. Hopefully by that point there will be few enough that we can finish them off the old-fashioned way.

Rewards

You will be able to choose one of these rewards:

Money13 gold74 silver

As an max level 80 paladin in TWW 11.2.5:
Encountered a weird bug; the bombs I dropped from the seahorse barely did any damage.
I alt-F4'd and logged back in, was off the seahorse, so I could kill all the mobs "manually",
which is a bit of a tedious task as a paladin, but atleast everything got one-shotted.

So if you encounter that problem, just alt-F4 and then kill everything manually,
which makes you able to complete the quest.

  • Properly InspiredShimmering Expanse · Level 30-35

Hello! I've been scrambling, scrambling to prepare for the Admiral's assault. He's got high hopes and high plans to blow all kinds of things sky high! ...or water high? That would do. Blowing things high takes EXPLOSIVES! I don't have explosives. It's saddening. Very saddening.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Fallen But Not ForgottenShimmering Expanse · Level 30-35

That was a disaster! Most of our men went down to spears before making it anywhere near the rendezvous. We're only going to be able to hold this position for so long before the naga overrun us.
