Pollen Pods are possibly slightly buggy. If the pod is a gear wheel, it can't be clicked on; move on. The only ones you can click are the ones with a hand cursor.
Ontogen the Harvester is at 59.8, 71 in a small gaseous depression . There are Angered Saplings in the area.
If you are having trouble finding Ontogen, open your map and go straight south under the "A" and the "N" in Tangelheart. This is up the path that you went down to for the bonus objective. He is in a gaseous swamp area surrounded by little Angered Sapling mobs.

Where to go
Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.
