Stopping the Rituals

Stopping the Rituals is an Alliance-only quest for level 7-30 in Ashenvale. It is step 41 of 50 in the Ashenvale, Alliance storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Ashenvale at 86.5, 43.7. It rewards 1 reputation reward, 4,100 experience and money. Completing it counts toward 1 achievement.

Description

I could not help but overhear Illiyana's loss. I understand her need for revenge. I am wondering if while you are exacting it, you could do us a service?

No doubt you have already seen the satyr of Satyrnaar and Xavian conducting vile rituals. I believe that they are preparing their rituals to corrupt any of the night elves they capture, turning them into satyrs. We draenei also have problems with fel magic exposure.

Would you disturb their ritual gems while you are there?

So as of patch 7.3.5 just these four quests mentioned in the previous comment are not enough to get you the sub-achievement. There are two other quest givers in the area that give:

  • A Shameful Waste

  • The Lost Chalice

Turning in these will lead you to the Warsong Lumber Camp to pick up:

  • Recover the Remains

Which gives you the sub-achievement.

  • Satyr Slaying!Ashenvale · Level 7-30

I can't believe that Anilia is gone... We used to play together in the forests all the time. I almost feel... sad. I know something that might make me feel better. Please, slay the satyrs that took Anilia from me! Bring me their horns as proof of your actions and you will forever have my gratitude.

  • Reclaiming Felfire HillAshenvale · Level 7-30
