Just got stuck handing this quest in, venari had the yellow quest icon like I had finished it, but the quest wasn't marked as completed. Relogging fixed it,
Jump out of phase diving before you pick up the quest. I couldn't interact with the console and had to abandon and re-accept.

What to do
Description
Today, we create life. Assuming my calculations are correct--which they are--we can use the essence you gathered along with the data we have collected to create new slatebacks.
Where to go
Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits
Before this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Ghost Buster
I have been working on the Oasis console and I believe I am ready for the next step. It will involve destruction, so naturally I thought of you. I need you to use a phase conduit to shift into the Untethered Space of K'aresh and retrieve the essence of the ghostly slatebacks.
After this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Diminishing Returns
The machine has its uses, but the slatebacks must start breeding so they can sustain themselves. Thus far, they have shown no inclination to do so. Take this device and use it to collect the slatebacks for testing. Om'talad will review the data.
