So why does this quest require to load "vehicle" bar with single button that disappears after single use? 10 times? Why can't we have normal targeting with quest item or just throwing at your current target like many other quests in K'aresh do? Why do we have to go with Shadowlands questionable quest design again?

Wait a minute... I think Pokemon's going to sue again.
Whoever did that quest should be seriously (and you guessed that right) prosecuted

What to do
Description
The machine has its uses, but the slatebacks must start breeding so they can sustain themselves. Thus far, they have shown no inclination to do so. Take this device and use it to collect the slatebacks for testing. Om'talad will review the data.
Where to go
Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits
Before this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- The Power of Gods
Today, we create life. Assuming my calculations are correct--which they are--we can use the essence you gathered along with the data we have collected to create new slatebacks.
After this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Running Free
Been talkin' to Ve'nari and Om'talad--trying to help the slatebacks get together. Apparently slatebacks used to display virility by engaging in races. Challenge the slateback alpha to a race. At worst, you'll both get some exercise. At best, it will increase the likelihood of a successful pairing.
