The Super Sniffer

The Super Sniffer is a quest for level 80 in The Oasis. It is step 5 of 13 in the Roaming Free storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Azj-Kahet at 77.5, 61.8. It rewards 5,900 experience and money.

Description

It appears the slatebacks are not secreting the correct pheromones, resulting in them not breeding.

We believe this is a side effect of the stasis. The technology was never tested for such an extreme length of time. Until now.

Hemet tells me there are creatures called niffen in Azeroth that have expertise in this research. Bring me one from Azj-Kahet. You can use my portal to quickly get there.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Running FreeThe Oasis · Level 80

Been talkin' to Ve'nari and Om'talad--trying to help the slatebacks get together. Apparently slatebacks used to display virility by engaging in races. Challenge the slateback alpha to a race. At worst, you'll both get some exercise. At best, it will increase the likelihood of a successful pairing.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • The Smallest Possible EffortThe Oasis · Level 80

You're a shrewd negotiator, <name>. That's good fun! I'll start packing. You go get some bug bits for me, okay?
