TheWoWDBThis quest is a mess, the drop rate is extremly low.(or at least it was for me, but wowhead shows the drop rate of almost 100%)

Anyway the problem of this quest is that you have to kill underwater creatures and the are 40-50 yards away.

Absolutely idiotic drop rate. Maybe 20%, not many squids yet tons of other mobs that you'll have to kill.
Plus they're squid! Every single one should have ink! This is the kind of quest Cataclysm was supposed to get rid of.
If you want a much better drop rate and you have this quest while questing in Helheim, the [npc=91537] have a MUCH higher drop rate (I'd say like 80%).
100% drop is correct. Look for them in the deep water section. If a priest, use levitate to walk on the water between kills.

Description
Your assistance, {name}, if you have a moment. I've been attempting to reproduce a pattern for footwear that I spotted a while back, but I'm having trouble getting the right color for my dye. Our black dye is too dark, our blue dye is too bright, and mixing the two doesn't look right. The color I'm looking for is more of a squid-ink blue. If, in your travels, you come across any dyes of this color, would you do me the favor of bringing some to me?
