Just watched someone do this quest, accompanied by a couple of Alliance who were helping to clear the mobs. The escort, after killing the 2 spawned mobs, aggroed the Alliance and they couldn't shake her off. Once they died (they ended up just letting her beat on them), she just despawned.
Be careful doing this quest if there are Alliance around.
You know how in most escort quests you usually get to a point well before the end where the NPC says "Thanks for the help, I'll find my way from here."?
Well, this isn't one of those.

I managed to drive them off, but that was only the beginning of my troubles. As I bound my wounds, those bird men found me, dragged me back to this cave, and locked me in this cage!
