when i read the quest and saw the reward.. i honestly felt bad for this guy, and after loking over the comments i cant believe no one has mentioned this yet but..."I swore that one day Blacktalon would pay for that. You bring back proof of that monster's death and I will give you my life's savings. Deal?"

Inside the cave, at 34,64 there's a branch to the right which is easy to miss if you're playing with limited contrast. That's where the mobs are. If you go straight back without noticing that branch (as I did several times) the cave will appear empty. Also, while this is a group quest, it's pretty trivially soloable on a 60 feral druid. It just takes forever. Demoralizing Roar seemed to stop me from taking any damage at all.

Rock flayers are mean, nasty, violent creatures. But the plain ones are like tame beasts when compared to their matriarch, Blacktalon the Savage. My cousin got eaten by her and it wasn't pretty.
