The Superbloom

You can't do this quest in a raid group

Weekly The Superbloom event requirements:

Consume [object=410267] from the giant plant that spawns next to Sprucecrown at the start of event. (Click and pick a buff.)

Earn 50 Bloom during a Superbloom event.

Complete a Superbloom event.

When? The Superbloom event runs every hour on the hour.

Where? The starting location is marked by a quest marker and a horn near the icon of Amirdrassil, the new World Tree. As Sprucecrown, the giant tree, moves during the event, the horn moves on the zone map.

Can I do the quest in a raid? Yes. Do the event in a raid or just show up and join others. You'll get credit either way.

Where to turn off War Mode? At the Inn in the Central Encampment.

Ancient Bough portal

• This portal is in the middle of a tiny island called the "Ancient Bough". It's off the coast of the Ohn'ahran Plains. The nearest flight point is the Shady Sanctuary. Half of the island is in the Ohn'ahran Plains and half is in the Emerald Dream.

• To see the portal area in more detail, open the map of the Emerald Dream. Use the drop-down map menu. Or click on the mid-sized island off the coast of the Ohn’ahran Plains — it glows yellow on mouseover. The island represents the Emerald Dream.

• The portal is in the garden of the Emerald Enclave. Fly over the bank and land. The portal takes you to the Central Encampment (The portal is usable once you've entered the Dream through the Ancient Bough portal.)

Doing the weekly quest: The Superbloom

Superbloom Event Phases

Pick up The Superbloom, from [npc=208474].
[npc=208474] is a dryad, who stands next to Sprucecrown at the event starting area. The location is marked by a quest marker near the icon for Amirdrassil, the new World Tree. There is also a horn marking the Superbloom starting point. If you join the Superbloom event after it's started, you can still pick up the quest The Superbloom from [npc=208474]. She keeps moving with Sprucecrown, but she'll interact with you when you reach her.

Contribute to Dreamseed Bloom
Minutes before the event or shortly after "The Tree Rises" starts, a player will plant a Dreamseed of any quality in nearby [object=405935]. Players contribute seeds and Dewdrops. Pick up more Dewdrops by pulling weeds and killing plant creatures. These will appear to be dormant until attacked. If you’re in a group, run to sparkling plant corpses to pick-up more Dewdrops. After a few minutes the plant collapses and players can loot the flower on the ground.

The Tree Rises
A tall [object=410267] plant sprouts near Sprucecrown. The plant has 1 or 2 large orange hanging fruits the size of pumpkins. Click on one fruit and gain a choice of buffs. Sometimes there is another large [object=410267] plant near a shallow pond. You won't be able to change your buff during the event.

The choice you make may enable you to interact with certain creatures and gain extra bloom points. Example: [spell=415147] allows you to interact with Moonkin. [spell=428110] allows you to interact with [npc=213630] the fish and help rescue its young.

Earn achievement Fruit of the Bloom after choosing each of the 20 possible buffs. See the links to buff list from Dathwada.

Help protect Amirdrassil, the new World Tree, from pests.
Sprucecrown begins to move, accompanied by [npc=208474]. The horn icon will mark their position.

There are 2 segments dealing with pests in each Superbloom. The segments have different names and activities, such as:

• Pest Control. Shoo insect swarms and help however you can.
• 
  
• The Dream Gathers. Help Rain-starved flowers and help however you can.
• 
  
• Seeding Chaos. Dig up piles of mulch and help however you can.
• 
  
• Invasive Species. Pull up weeds and help however you can.
• 
  

These items (insects, plants, weeds, mulch) are shown as yellow dots on the mini-map.
You'll get Bloom points for interacting with whatever the yellow dots represent -- even if this doesn't correspond to the named pest activity. Helping also means fighting off any hostile creatures that attack Sprucecrown as he walks. If there are [npc=208688]s on the side of the path, you'll get Bloom points for healing them.

If you stray, there will be a voice telling you to return to Superbloom. Find Sprucecrown by checking the zone map for the horn icon.

Ongoing: Defend Sprucecrown from attacks by hostile wildlife, such as [npc=211401]s, as he walks.

Occasional Extra feature: Growing Concerns
Defeat the Northern Patrol and the Southern Patrol. The patrols appear near Sprucecrown, so you're not moving to a different location.

• A very large arrow hovers where a primalist patrol will appear. It then moves to the location of the second primalist patrol.

  If you pick the buff [spell=418100] from the [object=410267] at the beginning of a Superbloom event you will see small silver arrows above circles. Stand in one to pick up the buff and earn 1 to 5 Bloom points.

Survive the Primalist attack and defend Sprucecrown. These segments are named:

• 
  
• The Folly of Youth. Primalists appear and interfere with Sprucecrown's walk.
• 
  
• An Unruly Storm. Primalists and portals appear. Boss [npc=207554] floats above the scene in fiery armor and hurls fire at Sprucecrown.
• 
  

If there are fewer players, there may only be one Primalist attack.

A Fiery End
The final stage. Boss [npc=207554], descends and is attackable. The space is small and crowded with players. So setting [npc=207554] as your Focus or using a keybind for “Target nearest Enemy” may help.

Dreamtroves
During the event you'll see a progress bar. For every 2,650 points you'll earn a Dreamtrove. You can earn all three: [item=211411], [item=211413], [item=211414].

• Turn in the quest to [npc=208474]. She travels with Sprucecrown during the event and will be nearby. Look for the yellow question mark. Other players will be surrounding her.

Rewards
You receive a [item=211389]. This loot includes a piece of veteran level armor.

I finished the quest, and it says ready for turn in, but when I go to where it says to turn it in, there's nobody there .

Edited to add, the NPC takes his time getting back to the turn in area. Went and did some other quests and came back later, and he was there.
