Troll Patrol

So since everyone is having trouble with alchemy part -- use this and blow your competition away.

I quickly make a list of stuff thats left and right, just ignore the top shelf its unreachable. This is the way on my server (Darksorrow-EU). If its different on yours (easy to check) just copy-paste this in say notepad and update the table.

This is the list of items that I found. L or R in bracket tells you whether its left or right or both (LR) or unknown (?). * marks rare ingredients -- I figured out there's only 1 of these and on only 1 shelf. This is where they were in my case (not sure if/how do they "respawn"):

( R) Amberseed [brown spikey lump]
( R) Ancient Ectoplasm [a bowl (not vial!) with white glowing liquid vaporizing]
(L ) Blight Crystal [orange glowing crystal]

If you fail, you can abandom all Troll Patrol daily quests in the log and go back to step 1. This restarts the "buff" timer.

Remeber if you're leveling, this is 5x5k xp from each individual patrol, 21k on turn in and 31k on congrats quest, thats ~ 70k xp. Plus tons of money and argent crusade rep.

EDIT: Yeah, right and left from the viewpoint of facing Alchemist. My initial guess is then that they are randomized at server reset or are on separate long timer. They were like this on my server for 2-3 days straight (no restarts). Also added 'trollbane' to the list -- didn't spawn to me; so I'll assume it's "rare". So maybe I should rather just mark them as either "both sides" or "one side".

I have written an addon for this daily called EasySerum (Curse link / WoWInterface link).

When Alchemist Finklestein whispers you the name of an item to find, such as Pickled Eagle Egg, the addon will print a message that says Pickled Eagle Egg: Right side, Case 1, Row 2, Item 2.

Simple and effective, no more alt-tabbing to wowhead for this quest!
