TheWoWDBI was able to pick up this quest today at 71, 48 in The Blasted Lands, along with Attack of the Iron Horde. It was weird to see Thrall just standing there, but I also cannot see the NPCs or siege engines required to complete this quest.

if you in the [spell=176111] part of Blasted Lands you can still pick up the Q, but have to return to present time to do the q
Not that there's any real difficulty here, and you do have another quest to kill the bad guys around the cannons, but you can destroy the demolishers without dismounting. You do get knocked to the ground but not dismounted and you take no damage.

Description
Those Iron Horde cannons are laying waste to our troops. I'm not sure how much more of this we can handle. Our forces are already spread too thin. There has to be a way to stop those war machines.
