I just completed the quest, and of course it failed, because it's bugged and it's stupid. So I logged out like people say to do here, and there's no quest any more. I got no notice of completion, no rep, no nothing. Thanks, Blizzard. Next time, maybe test some of these things before you release them.
Can confirm the only fix seems to be logging out/in, as per stated by Infers. +1 for my vote of approval!
