Ethereal Invasion

Ethereal Invasion is a quest for level 80 in Undermine. It is step 1 of 7 in the Breaking the Shackles storyline, the opening step. The quest's turn-in marker is in Undermine at 29.5, 69.5. It rewards 11,750 experience and money.

Description

Just moments ago, these ethereals appeared out of nowhere. They attacked Noggenfogger and attempted to haul him off. I made short work of the first attackers, but they keep coming.

Now they're searching every building and killing anyone who stands in their way.

I don't know what they're looking for, but we can't allow them to continue this slaughter.

Let's teach them a lesson.

Nothing too bad, although they can now decrease the amount of ethereals...like it was made just to slow down players in the beginning. need to reduce the amount or some players will remain a longer time just trying to get through this mob of ethereals

That is every comment on this page.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

As soon as the ethereals attacked, phase resonance tore open rifts throughout the area. The rifts are gone, but the ethereals can return while the resonance remains. That is how they call more soldiers and communicate with their commanders. We need to destroy that resonance.
