I hoped that these relics would either:
a) become part of the heirloom tab so you could use them on multiple characters after only completing the quest once.
or
b) be usable at level 101.As it stands, an item level 805 relic only usable at 110 is pretty lackluster and will be immediately replaced.
I'm pretty sure WoD archaeology weapons/jewelry was usable at level 91, so why aren't these working for 101?All in all, the archaeology rewards in Legion are pretty lackluster. Expected much more from the way they revamped how rare solves work.
He is up top in a small cave at 38,90. Do not go below in Felsoul Hold.

Description
{name}, I received an urgent message from the High Examiner requesting your presence. He's finally found something powerful-- VERY powerful--and he wants your help in recovering it. Be careful down there, {name}. Tae'thelan can be a tad fanatical when it comes to artifacts that hold any sort of energy.
Where to go
Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

I was right about the nightborne here having objects of great power. I found an ancient text referring to such an object called the Orb of Sciallax.
