As long as you have To Gloom Hollow in your quest log [npc=131988] won't be in gloom hollow to end this quest ?
There is an anime called Fruits Basket in which the character Ayame Sohma is possesed by the snake of the Chinese zodiac.
If you have Getting the Message in your quest log, you need to investigate the disturbance before [npc=131988] becomes available.
