This is another of the type of quest where you personally have to click the quest item to get the proper mob to appear to get credit. Just keep trying to click the top of the transponder. If there isn't a clickable bit there, that means someone else has just recently clicked it before you. I honestly am not sure why Blizz keeps designing quests like this when people are swarming the area, all trying to do the same quest at once. It's a universal constant though, isn't it?

Wow! This is one annoying quest.

I've had to abandon, and wait around for a long time for the spawned mobs to disappear, or else they will just add to the mob you already summoned, preventing you from summoning again!

About 5-7 minutes until all disappear.

Each has ~170k health to my level 59 Fury Warrior - who is ~62k! Quite the difference. And he hits like a 80 elite.

Prepare to arrive with every cooldown ready to pop again. You'll need every spell you have to drop this guy. Interrupts are key, because he teleports you very high in the air, causing a ton of falling damage.

Ended up bringing my ele shaman (80) and the mob showed 8mil!

Description

We're on a roll! We picked up an even more anomalous anomaly while you were out and tracked it down to just west of town. We've got a brand-new Transpositional Signal Recombobulatron already set up out there, but I didn't want to start without you. You've been a big help, after all. All you have to do is dial it in and throw the switch! Easy as pie, which I'm told is very easy. Rivet says that the odds of something cataclysmic happening are pretty good, so I know nothing bad can happen!

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Warbands: Space Ghosts by the CoastLevel 20-90

There are an awful lot of half-teleported things wandering around the desert not too far from here. Really, any at all would be a surprising amount, but there are a bunch of them for some reason!

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Warbands: Spacetime is MoneyLevel 20-90

Now that we've got all the transpositional data we could ever hope for, all we need to do is set up a wormhole in a suitable banking establishment and we'll be dropping gear into each other's pockets from the field in no time! And there just happens to be a bank right here in Gadgetzan!
