Here is a mini guide to the foods of Legion!

There are various sources for the foods of the Broken Isles, including drops, quests, and from the new Nomi cooking station work orders.

• Most of the other recipes are obtained from work orders in Nomi's kitchen. These work orders require various meat/fish to start, and can reward new recipes.
  After learning any legion recipe (e.g. from drops/quests), [npc=101846] appears and starts the following short quest chain to set up your kitchen:

In addition, each recipe has 3 ranks, which will either increase yields or decrease crafting costs for food

• For individual buff foods, Rank 1 produces 5 pieces of food, Rank 2 produces 7 pieces, and Rank 3 produces 10 pieces.

• For feasts, Rank 1 requires 5 of various dishes, Rank 2 requires 4 of each dish, and Rank 3 requires 3 of each dish.

• Most (if not all) of the Rank 2 and 3 recipes are obtained from Nomi's Test Kitchen work orders.

so I'm stuck on 780 cooking and all of my recipes are gray. anyone knows what's going on?

If you want to reach 800 in cooking, don't forget to do classic world cooking dailies!
You can only do one of them per day but you are free to choose any city. Some of them give +2 to cooking.

New info, folks! The answer is Recipe: Spiced Wildfowl Omelet.
It turns yellow at 780, green at 790 and I reached 800 by crafting only this! And eggs are cheap these days.

Don't forget the Darkmoon Faire quest that gives +5 cooking.
