Shriek No More

Shriek No More is a quest for level 10-45 in Val'sharah. It is step 5 of 8 in the Bradensbrook storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Val'sharah at 37.1, 58.5. It rewards 1 reputation reward, 6,150 experience and money.

Description

Papa loved this village. He'd never hear of leaving, even in these dread times.

Before he died, he told me what attacked him: a monstrous falcon we call Rotbeak.

You're fighting these undead, aren't you? Will you avenge my father? If so, you can find the beast northwest of here, patrolling our western route to the sea.

The breadcrumb for this recipe is A Village in Peril from [npc=92688] at 54.79, 52.77 (lying on the ground on the path in to the Temple grounds). This Quest sends you to Bradensbrook where you complete it by talking to [npc=92619]. After turning in this quest to Mayor Heathrow in Bradensbrook, you can head directly to [npc=94117] at 37.11, 58.31 and begin the quest for the recipe.

If you're like me and just trying to hunt down quests to get your 6 recipes for Nomi, be aware that this one is gated behind the quest chain of the zone. You can't just waltz over to the village and offer to help, you need to wait to be asked.

Don't be me, children.

EDIT: Update: the breadcrumb quest can be gotten at the Temple of Elune without any other Val'sharah quest being done.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Children of the NightVal'sharah · Level 10-45

I am no enemy to these people, but there is no convincing them of that. Their village has come under attack by some very old friends of mine. Friends who are no longer... living. There's no telling who or what controls them, but in life these noble soldiers would never engage in such acts.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • A Sight For Sore EyesVal'sharah · Level 10-45

Do you see those ravenous birds flying above my farm? Vicious creatures are spreading their filth an' eatin' my crops. I'd get rid of them with my trusty gun, but my eyesight's gone downhill. Take this flare gun and mark them for me. Once I get my sights on them, I'll make 'em scatter.
