A Custom Order is a quest for level 50 in Uldum. It rewards 850 experience and money.
I think it's safe to say that our little friend is no long a hatchling, but a fully grown aqir! He's grown so much, in fact, he could even carry you into battle.
Wait, that's a marvelous idea!
You should speak with Blacksmith Abasi about getting a saddle made.

I got this quest today after training my pet up in Vale of Eternal Blossoms for the second iteration of Aqir Instincts. After I turned the quest in, however, [npc=48617] did not offer me a second quest. I don't know if this is a bug, but I will check him for a quest tomorrow and follow up here.
Update: Today I did receive the next quest in the chain for the mount. It was Otherworldly Armaments which I completed. Again, it appears that [npc=48617] has another quest, which is the one for the mount, but it can only be completed on the next day. It therefore appears that the Blacksmith is also on the same daily quest reset timer as the original trainer was.
This is the first quest of the Adult stage, offered the day after you complete the hatchling stage.
I was offered Otherworldly Armaments immediately after this, the same day.

I think it's safe to say that these quest descriptions are no long* proofread, and that thought saddens me. I don't think that's a quirk of a draenei's accent either.
