TheWoWDBIf it bugs because you are flying. This would fix it. Leave that quest area. Go to ground mount. ride in and it will be ok

With 9.0.5 this quest seems to have been changed so that the animacones are individual.
So if someone loots it before you, you need to wait for it to reappear and be lootable. luckily the respawn is fast.
[EDIT] This should have been hotfixed at March 16th and they are shared again.
Yep, worked for me. Also remember guys, bugs don't get fixed unless Blizzard knows about it. Send a bug report in the ESC > "Support" section.
