I had an issue today that, after turning in my round of quests, I couldn't see Tarenar and Gidwin at all, and couldn't get this quest. The only reason I knew I should be able to get it is because I play with two of my sisters every Saturday, on a trio of characters we only play and quest together. They could get it, but they weren't even showing up for me.
Logging out and back in resolved the issue for me. Typical for little bugs like that. :p

the location shown on the map is incorrect. you pick up the quest from tarenar inside of light's hope chapel. exact coords are 42.47 91.25

Thanks for the tip. I stopped questing on the toon about a month ago and forgot about those two . I couldn't figure out how to get the quest, but re-logging fixed it.

Description

Tyrosus has given us our next task: slaying more undead in Northdale. Gidwin is excited to move forward, but I think we should show a little more caution. Let's meet up with Fiona. She should be at the next tower by now... Eastwall Tower, I think it's called. It's close by, to the northwest of Light's Hope. We can rest there, and plan our attack on Northdale.

Well, I'm glad that Eligor and Korfax left some fun for me. It was a battle unto itself to keep them from rushing headlong into the middle of this cathedral. That's YOUR job, after all. The cathedral lies ahead of us, the last real bastion of Scarlet power remaining.
