Like Rats

Like Rats is a quest for level 15-30 in Eastern Plaguelands. It is step 37 of 46 in the Eastern Plaguelands storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Eastern Plaguelands at 75.6, 52.0. It rewards 3 reward items, 1 reputation reward, 6,200 experience and money. Completing it counts toward 1 achievement.

Description

Well, I'm glad that Eligor and Korfax left some fun for me. It was a battle unto itself to keep them from rushing headlong into the middle of this cathedral.

That's YOUR job, after all.

The cathedral lies ahead of us, the last real bastion of Scarlet power remaining. Within it, Crusader Lord Valdelmar sits atop Tyr's Hand's crumbling pulpit of lies.

There will be no escape; there will be no mercy. The last simpering vestiges of the Scarlet Crusade end here. Slay him.

Attention enchanters!

The [npc=9451] around the cathedral in Tyrs Hand are the only source of the formula Formula: Enchant Weapon - Crusader in the game. After handing in this quest at the Light's Hope Chapel the scarlet archmages will become unreachable for your character thus also the formula because the area of Tyrs Hand will change due to phasing. After finishing the quest there won't be any enemies around the cathedral anymore.

If you have already finished the quest you can either try to get the formula with another character (no need to be an enchanter, drops for everyone) which hasn't finished the quest yet or buy it at the auction house because the formula is not BOP.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Argent UpheavalEastern Plaguelands · Level 15-30

I'll say we've done enough damage to these barracks to call this a win. A commander, a huntsman, and a warlock, all slain... not to mention the relics that we've liberated. Or shall I say... YOU liberated. The cathedral still remains, but not for long.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Argent Call: NorthdaleEastern Plaguelands · Level 15-30

Tyrosus has given us our next task: slaying more undead in Northdale. Gidwin is excited to move forward, but I think we should show a little more caution. Let's meet up with Fiona. She should be at the next tower by now... Eastwall Tower, I think it's called.
