Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

That explosion will likely bring onlookers from the House of Rituals. We must act quickly. Search through the debris for anything that looks out of the ordinary. It is likely that Kel'Thuzad's mystery reagent won't be hard to spot.

The pieces are all coming together. The kyrian, the Paths of the First Ones, and runes of domination? Kel'Thuzad is looking to breach the Maw! We cannot allow this to happen! The Maw has been locked away from the Shadowlands for good reason. Opening that floodgate could be catastrophic!
