While beating up earth elementals for this quest, the keen-eyed champion of Azeroth might spot a lurking Servant of the Black Prince halfway up on the path on the right (western) side of the room.

He has some dialogue when interacted with:
NPC: Go about your business, champion of Azeroth. You and I have no quarrel.
Player dialogue option: What's an agent of the Black Prince doing here?
NPC response: That information isn't mine to give at this time You have your hands full as it is. Go about your business and you will know more, soon enough.

Seems like the Black Prince is up to something.

!IMPORTANT!

Kill EVERYTHING IN HERE! Everything drops azerite energy which will increase the damage you do! I got 18 stacks which lead to 36% increased damage! So take the time to clear out the entire chamber. If you only go for what you need, you will probably only have around 10% increased damage. I didn't notice this until much later on. Wish I knew it sooner.

Description

It is plain that the situation here is dire. The power of the black dragonflight echoes around us, and the earth is reeling in response. I have heard tales of ruptures like these on Kul Tiras and Zandalar. The elementals have been driven into a frenzy, and they bar our way from seeking the essence. If we are to preserve the tenuous balance of the elements here, the wounds must be mended, {name}.

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Take My HandLevel 50

Beneath us lies the former home of the dragon Neltharion. You may know him as Deathwing. If your titan watcher friend detected an essence of dragon magic coalescing nearby, it may be an echo of the power of the dragonflights. Such power will be coveted by others as well.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Dominating the IndomitableLevel 50

With the wounds healed, I can clearly sense the dragon essence. Unfortunately, it seems to emanate from the earthen giant before us. I will address the creature. Let us hope it listens to reason... but be prepared for anything.

The storyline at a glance
