I am at a loss. The boss wasn't triggering, I was literally on NO other quests. I abandoned it to try and pick it up again but the quest giver is gone. Just gone, and has not come back. I've reloaded several times, I've logged in and out, he's GONE. I literally can't complete Hallow's End or Loremaster without this quest chain to open up this base and I don't know what to do. Please help!

EDIT: Okay, can confirm. Even if you have not started Mogu at the Gates, you're gonna need to go down, pick it up, and finish the quest line. As soon as I did, the quest giver popped back into existence and I was able to complete the quest.

What to do

StorylineKun-Lai Summit, step 14 of 88
Rewards27g 48s, 6,000 XP

Description

The yaungol have always been a difficult, proud people, but never this violent or aggressive. I do not know what has prompted this change in their behavior, but we don't have time to find out, now. We fear for our lives and livelihoods as long as Ur-Bataar, leader of the Bataari yaungol, lives. Go, set the banner in his camp ablaze to challenge him, and then defeat him in battle. Only then will we be secure.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

  • Eastwind RestKun-Lai Summit · Level 20-35

I am injured, but we can't stop here. The hozen were... unreliable. The pandaren would be much better allies. You have seen the refugees in this village, and heard of the yaungol invasion, no? Well, we've heard from the locals that Eastwind Rest, a nearby village, was destroyed by the Yaungol.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Trouble on the FarmsteadKun-Lai Summit · Level 20-35

I... I escaped from Farmer Chow's, to the southeast of here. It's been taken over by yaungol, but the old man and his wife just won't give it up! Please, go there and help him out. Maybe if you do, he'll be willing to send some folks back here and help you guys farm up some food for the new town?
