This quest will only continue if you enter the pit area through the southwest entrance, as opposed to trying to get to brak where she is up top. If your on the wrong side simply run through the pit area and when you get to the southwest entrance, the other npc's will spawn. Help them clear out the pit, kill brak, pick up the artifact, and ride the bird back home.

This quest, and the chain that leads to it, is only available to players that choose to build the gladiator arena in Gorgrond, instead of the lumber yard.
In order to open this quest up you need to first complete a long list of other quests (below). Rexxar will not appear in the location on the map until you have completed these quests (as I found out the hard way). Note that Chains of Iron is for the acquisition of a garrison follower! [npc=85278]

Sorry this is so long but it took me forever to get this information, as I chose to build the lumber yard and haven't leveled any alts yet. I looked forever for this quest, only to find out I can't get it, and I want to make sure this info is shared, thoroughly, with everyone who may need it.

Enter canyon from southwest, otherwise quest bugs. Rexxar will fight with you. You will face a few waves of increasingly difficult Dominated Gronns. Then Brak will engage, and Rexxar will also call in Nisha as support.

Brak is a simple fight, just watch for the ground ability that stretches out in a straight line and does about 10K on mail. Once Brak is killed, Rexxar will run up to the ramp where the "Heart of the Magnaron" artifact resides (49.7, 43.9). Interact with it.

Down the ramp Nisha awaits. Interact with the mount, and she will fly you to Vindicator Maraad

The notes you recovered tell of a device capable of subjugating even a magnaron. Ancient legends speak of such artifacts, crafted by the worldbuilders to keep these creatures in check. I had discounted them as silly stories, but if they are true... <name>, Draenor is doomed.
