When you're building Pedgi's confidence, you can choose the first option in every list that you're given.
When you have to find Pedgi, leave the inn and press M to get your map up. You'll see where to go, to the south and slightly east. Go there.
You're going to drop down and you'll see Pedgi near the bottom of a waterfall. /way 53.85 87.81
In case you were curious:
During the "build up [npc=204987]'s confidence" portion of Compose Yourself, it doesn't remotely matter what you choose to say to him -- he will always have the same responses to every option.
